STUPID fast Dload speeds!!!

Less than 5 minutes to Dload the whole album...maybe only 2-3 minutes. I wasn't keeping track it was going so fast.

hows the quality?

160kbps

It seems to be recorded a bit hot on some tracks and low on others. I'm only playing them through my bookshelf speakers hooked up through my computer, but they don't sound nearly what they should for 160kbps mp3s(IMO). These are definately shy of studio quality.

Wanna know why her CD has such legs? Because it skews much older than most big sellers. She's selling tonnage to the NPR/sunday brunch/wine and cheese crowd. And you know what? By and large they don't download music, they buy it...

The labels could take a hint from that...but they won't...
