I can't believe how fast these people type. I'm a classical pianist.. I get paid because I can move my fingers quickly. I typed 101 words per minute with 99% accuracy, but these other guys were typing 180?? I mean how is this possible? Am I using the wrong keyboard? Do I need to buy new shoes (or perhaps gloves?).

I also do much better on tests which allow backspace.

And I'm sorry, 180WPM is not possible. I just retook the test, and just jammed on the keyboard and space bar to see what my gross speed would be (not counting errors.) I managed only 200WPM (279 errors)

Aw man, you guys want to get into this typing competition thing? There is no test BETTER nor MORE ADDICTIVE than TyperA on the net.

Check it out. I swear you'll like it more than any other typing test.

You can set groups for your work buddies, clans, whatever, so you can compare to see who's the best typer in your immediate group of friends. And don't forget to look at the high scores list

One word...PATHETIC (and I'm surprised THAT wasn't used as a rating). 50wpm at best

EDIT: average for the last 787K games is lower than what I'm scoring so maybe my score sounds worse than it is (especially compared to those with 700-800 keys/min).

TyperA is harder (but better) than other tests imo though. I like how they measure cpm instead.

Eh... 52 WPM 93% accuracy. I had to lower my screen resolution down to 1034 x 768 to properly see the characters. It's time to go practice typing, then get a bigger monitor.
