I saw over at a tech site that has bargains something about a free Opera license. Go there for the code. It looks to be in German and I use Firefox so I don't care about this deal.

You're bad at searching. Go the site in the bolded words, there is a search box on the page. Type Opera and hit enter. Scroll down.

I'm using Opera right now and this is a great deal. No more clunky ad's at the top of the browser. Opera is a great browser for those who are used to 'tabbed browsing'.

Gee....

Don't you read German

It will simply send the registration code required for Opera 7.5x to the email address you specified for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and FreeBSD.

You can then download Opera and use the registration code which was sent:
http://www.opera.com/

Note: You can use http://babelfish.altavista.com/ to translate web pages and text as needed.

I agree that "tabbed browsing" is best.
Been a registered Opera user for several years.

Umm.. FF supports tabbed browsing also. Use the middle button to click on a link, and it automatically opens in a new tab.

I switched from Firefox to Opera as well. Tabbed browsing's the way to go and being able to come back to your previous session if your window accidentally gets closed is a nice touch as well. I'm actually running build #7498 of version 8.0...no problems here!
I also just made my 1000th post!!

Firefox has tabbed browsing. It can save your session with a plugin too.

But anyway, time for me to try Opera again. I haven't used it since version 6 or so.
