Free Pancakes at IHOP - Tues. 3/04 7 am to 2 pm

I saw a commercial on TV saying IHOP (at least the ones in the DC metro area) will be giving away a free stack of pancakes tomorrow from 7 to 2. I don't know abut IHOPs in other areas, but it's worth a call.

I'm trying not to thread crap, but, for some reason, IHOP pancakes don't do it for me. I have a great Bob Evans in the area that makes wonderful pancakes on the weekend. 3 of them are only about $3.49.

However, for those who are getting in on this deal at IHOP, I wish you the best of luck. Enjoy your free pancakes.

I will never eat at Ihop again. Someone I work with was a waitress there and said things are not very pretty in the kitchen. They have to make so much batter they mix it in huge containers that are the size of large garbage cans and it takes so much effort to mix the batter that those mixing it end up sweating into the batter and think nothing of it. Ugh!

Yup, it's a good thing the general public doesn't know what goes on in most kitchens otherwise they'd never eat out again.

I agree ... that's why I prefer restaurants where the cooking is done out in the open. It may not be that different in reality, but at least it makes me feel better to know that they know that I know what they're doing.

But dirty kitchens are one thing ... what really drives me crazy is sticky syrup dispensers.

I'm going to shuffle my kleenex box enclosed feet over to the fridge and open some hermitically sealed cryogenically frozen pancakes.........

Nah, I'm full. I just got fed a fatty breakfast(egg, bacon, various sausage, o'brian potatoes, donuts, milk, juice). All you could eat. Free. Plus I get 10 bucks when they draw my blood in an hour. Beat that!

Dumb fat and happy (until they show me my cholesterol reading).

thanx for the ihop post anyway, maybe lunch there if I wakeup from my mid-morning nap in time

I head over to IHOP almost every weekend. I don't mind their breakfast at all, especially their pancakes.
