Actually, I found "Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs" to be a horrible book, but then again, I didn't much like the class that went along with it ;p
To it's credit, it is used in the intro to CS classes at both UC Berkeley, and MIT, so it's certainly well reputed. I'm not sure I'd be interested in a physics book by the same author, though.
As to your question Mindstorm--it is exactly the same as the book you can buy from a campus bookstore or online--just published in HTML. It will be cited in exactly the same fashion as the printed text.
