ya know. the funny thing about this thread is that I probably have worked with some of their products... well, around them anyway. I did a couple years with a phosphate plant over in polk county. (who hasn't, in polk county? Phosphate, it's whats for dinner.) I'm sure the dragline used tension controls and brakes, not to mention the processing plant itself. shrug. For myself, I worked on the pumps.

The smell is exquisite.

Almost as bad as the ultimate thread crap.

For his next trick, he'll email Best Buy when they accidentally put out too many rebates on an item. Wouldn' want them to loose money on a wireless router, after all.

I really do think I made his day with this hot deal post. Everyone likes to sit on the high ground once in a while. Heck. I'm having fun with it, too.

Someone said Ban him? No. No banning. He has a right to be here and post just like anyone else. Because in form, he is right. If you don't use the products, you shouldn't apply for the knife. I probably should have posted that in the original post. But thats a decision I leave up to the individual.. I just posted it. I didn't enforce my morality on others, as he is trying to do. For that he's wrong. You don't force others to conform to your ethical berring by taking away their choices and imposing your will. Not in this kind of forum. Someone who professes to know whats good for this country should realize that.

Besides, get used to moral relativism, it's what results when others impose their own moral absolutism.

Is there not a difference between Best Buy offering something for free after rebates and filling out fake surveys to get something you aren't entitled to? Are you so naive as to think Best Buy mistakenly puts out too many coupons and that's how hot deals come about?

How is "doing the right thing" enforcing my moral opinion? In your epic quest for freedom of choice why do you simply forget about the victim? How is your right to do something above the negative consequences the act will have? You would fool these people, screw up their system, waste their time all for a cheap pocket knife?

Why did you post this "hot deal"? You state that in form, I am right. Are you so desperate for attention from your "hot deal" peers that you will not allow the concept of right and wrong to exist?

Keep on filling out surveys guys. Those free knives will be showing up anytime now.
