Subs to Time, Newsweek, US Weekly, and Businessweek I think are especially impressive, given they are weekly and thus usually are like $50 or so. The kicker is that they require a credit card (with the generous offer of automatically charging it once your year is up for renewal). I imagine if your credit card expires before then (hint) you'd be okay...

Watch out for these guys. I signed up for the 3 free mags and gave them my cc info, thinking they wouldn't charge me until renewal is up. Well guess what? I checked my statement today and they charged me almost $50 for each subscription, and I haven't seen a single magazine in my mailbox yet. Gonna hafta call them tomorrow and put the smack down on this crap.

just get one of those "one time only" credit card numbers from your credit card company online

perfect for this kind of stuff because the number usually expires the same month its issued, so when they go to charge
your card at a later date it will be declined!
