I already have 'SystemWorks' and the reg cleaner that comes with 'CCleaner'. Are there any advantages to this one?

Spiffy. I've used this registry mechanic before it seems to find more than ccleaner, or reg seeker but I don't know whether it was finding anything useful or not. Paying for it killed the deal. I figured it was worth another look and grabbed it.

I ran regseeker right before Registry Mechanic and it still came up with 44 "problems" nothing really useful from what I saw but it's something I suppose.

I've been using v4.0 for a few years: Hasn't hurt anything!

I like the idea of clearing out removed proggie registry references and duplicated instances. In theiry, it should speed up the boot process; but you know how theories go.

i registered and less than a minute, I got the user name and serial#.

It was quick and painless. It found 44 items my Nortoin Systemworks missed, to my surprise and fixed it. What I am surprised at, is that it was free.
