BTW, anyone ever tried Dad's or Mug Rootbeer? If you don't mind rootbeer in a can, its pretty good, both of them.

Me too except that's my plan. I've been signing up for all this stuff with my recently married wife's old name and email in an attempt to get her to stop using them. I don't really care that much, I just think it's funny.

Dad's is a good "old" brand as is Hires. Mug is Pepsi trash. Low end, low quality (can you tell I'm in the soft drink biz?). A great place to learn about all the esoteric root beers on the market these days is at bevnet.com. Stuff you never imagined would make it into a bottle.

Personally I love Mug rootbeer...and I love Stewarts Rootbeer. Has anyone heard of Stewarts Root beer or is it just a regional thing? Its soooo good. Whats even cooler is that they have a rootbeer stand in town here with car hops...minus the roller skates!! ha ha..

Mug rootbeer, cant beat it.
Unless you like birch beer, then you can buy the shoprite or pathmark or whatever store brand birch beer, it's always good.

And if there's people out there who like rum.
THE BEST DRINK EVER IS BIRCH BEER AND RUM.
You can't even taste you're drinking rum if mixed properly. I am telling you, try it, just once, you will find that you suddenly have a new favorite drink.

IMO Henry Weinhard's root beer is by FAR the best. Very smooth and creamy. It's often sold out at my local grocery store.
