lawns love biodegradable soap.. they don't mind beer or soda too.

Lawn Magic's revolutionary formula increases the "wetness" of your water by lowering surface tension. This increases the fluids ability to penetrate into the soil by as much as 200%. "Deep Penetration" decreases runoff thereby putting the water you use directly where it's needed, your lawns root structure.

How can you increase the "wetness" of water?? Am I missing something here? I'm guessing that the customer is getting the "deep penetration" on this one, not the lawn.

What they mean by "increasing wetness" is that is lowers the surface tension of the water, so that it soaks in, rather than beading up and running off the surface. Rinse agent in your dishwasher does the same thing, but with the goal of getting the water off your dishes before it can dry and leave a mineral deposit. There is a product called "Water Wetter" (I think that's the name) for car radiators which does the same thing, so that the "boundry-layer" of the flow is thinner, so that heat transfer is maximized.
