haha. Got it all messed up. First of it's bestbuy.com not buy.com. Second of all I have never have any problems with buy.com for the 3 years that I've bought hardware from. It's the people that's trying to raped them over pricing mistakes that's most likely to have problems with them.

When I tried checking out last night when the free shipping was up, it still tacked on 45 cents shipping and $4 order charge on ground shipping.

edit: I just tried next day shipping, and the order charge goes to $12 plus $2 shipping. 2nd day has $9 combined order and shipping charges. What the hell is this order charge and why do they pretend to make their shipping cheap?

-Pald, I totally agree with your comments in regards to buy.com...I build almost my whole system, and systems for family, from from the various deals they have delivered...all of which typically arrive within 2 days. In fact, many of the orders placed on Monday morning have arrived to my doorstep by the time I return home from college...NEVER have I had one thing go wrong with a delivery...best site on the net, in my opinion.

Oh I know what happened. I added the item to my cart on Friday, so it didn't give me free shipping when I tried checking out today. But when I empty my cart, and add the item again, I get free ground shipping.

beware though. Most bestbuy items in their computer department are outrageously overpriced.

I remember seeing ata 66 and 100 cables for $15, usb cables at $20 up to $35, and printer cables at the same price!

How did you get $40 worth? I only got the $20 from that promotion before the site came out...

AHHmmmm....I had them sent to a &quot;friend's&quot; email address, and my friend gave me the GC. Now that I think of it, I should have had them send to more &quot;friends&quot;.

BestBuy makes all their money on accessories. That is why things like blank CDs and computers themselves aren't too overpriced but accessories - cables especially - are.

Hey Heifetz... Recommendation with your Bestbuy GC's... If you have a store in your area, request a gift card be mailed to you. Do that online and there is no charge for this and the card has no expiration. Can't say that for sure of the GC.. That was a nice giveaway. Also, if you want a video card, use the 20% &quot;Off all PC gaming&quot; coupon which is good till 11/5. If you aren't aware of it, do a search, as it was posted earlier.
