Yeah. Head to Circuit City and pick up the ADS Ultra Hub 4-port USB hub for $29.99 - regular price. I've owned the $25 - $29 Belkin USB port and it's a piece of garbage. The cover fell off mine and the label came unglued also. The ADS is a much better made hub.

Buy.Com DOES NOT raise their prices during *free* shipping times. Their prices go up and down on a daily basis base on their competition's prices. However, it is wise to put the item in the shopping cart at this time. Then, on Monday if the price is higher, you are good to go. However, if the on-line price is lower, you can clear it and put the newer priced item in your cart.

ahh maybe that is why buy.com bumped a few of their hot product prices a little, I just ordered a radeon ddr today and noticed the price went up a few dollars since the last time I looked at it, luckily I kept it in my shopping cart so yes I did have to pay shipping but I also got it for a reduced cost. guess it all works out that way

I'm askin cuz I just ordered the plextor deal for 128 after coupon, but with tax/shipping to Cali, went up to $148.00...

Later when I requested to cancel the order, was told it was shipped already.

CSR also said one couldn't use 2 promos on the same order... (if I'd waited til Monday 10/23)

Is the rep yanking my chain or what...?

I know you can't combine two offers (like 2 coupon codes), they will appear in the cart OK but you'll have problems at checkout. However I have combined coupon w/free shipping before, as the free shipping just showed up automatically I didn't have to enter anything.

Free shipping doesnt work even without a coupon in your basket...to be sure i installed netscape and just put an item in the basket...the things i do for a hot deal...i stayed up till 4:30am for nothing.. thanks buy.com.
