We actually have an online rebate for staples that hasn't come back yet. Been waiting like 2 months and they say it could be another 45 days.

bumping this thread since its coming up, and i was actually looking for a shredder. but this one on sale looks awefully like the one i had 3 years ago, it worked for about 5 minutes, then it broke. i took it apart and found it was made with fragile plastic parts. if this is the same one, i would not even waste my time.

Isn't that the truth. Staples has been pathetic lately. Only store was have locally so that sucks for us. Can only hope for good Black Friday sale.

And check this sh1t out. I always try to support my local store when possible and Staples in general when I can. Amazon had XP upgrade for $49 shipped. I call Staples and ask for a price match. After literally 20 minutes they say ?good news and bad news.?

Good news, we can match no problem.
Since they only ship next day (bullsh*t) so we have to add what Amazon charges for next day ship which of course was like $18.

Sad. Why didn?t they just say it is below our cost, we won?t match it?

I told the lady that that kind of stuff makes it real hard to go out of my way to support Staples when they pull that kind of stuff.

They were not free at B&M. Shredder was 29.99 (11.99 after ER) and the remote was 13.99 (3.99 after ER)
