I have done this 2 days now, different locations tho, Grand Rapids only has 3 to my knowledge, so I'll find out soon enough if they start denying me, hehe

I have a bad feeling about this not lasting long but I'm sure going to take adavantage of it till it does. I love quiznos, 2.50 is so much better than 7 bucks a meal

I hope they had the sense to post a sign or ask when you ordered. Otherwise the sandwiches will pile up at the register as people walk out.

It was NO GO at the downtown Orlando Quiznos....The manager kept telling me this was for a specific store. I said, can't you read. He still said no way

No sign, but I did show the coupon on ordering, maybe that is the key. Hide the coupon until time to pay. IMO Quiznos is way too expensive and I would leave the food lying there instead of paying. As a matter of fact, I have never eaten there because I draw the line at $6 for lunch. I guess that I am cheap. They lost a customer here.

Quiznos in Oakland doesnt accept coupons :frown:

I bought a sandwich there anyways and it might just be that one, but it sucked. I would rather eat at subway than at that Quiznos again. I used to love the one in LA, it was much better. Hopefully its just that one and the quality everywhere else is still good.

No go in the Quizno's in Sugar Land, TX. One had a sign specific saying they wouldn't accept the coupon. The other just flat out said they wouldn't accept coupons. I should've ordered first and showed the coupon. At least that way I could've wasted their time as they have wasted mine. Time to take up the Jared challenge instead.

Worked in Racine, WI

Wife and I had lunch. $2.40 for my tuscan chicken. They did give us a hard time. Once we sat down, wife noticed another couple with the coupons. I talked to them when we were leaving. They said they got the deal yesterday as well but were given a hard time.

Sandwiches are good, but too expensive. I'd only go there if I had a coupon. So thanks for the post!! I even had cheetohs for my chips.

edited to add; oh yea, the guy asked if I got the coupon from citysearch and I did show them the coupon before I ordered

Worked fine at the Quizno's on 19th street in DC. They even let us get regular and large subs and pay the difference. I got a large sub, a drink and chips, and they just added up the cost of all of that (about $8) and deducted the cost of a small sub (about $4). Final price was about $4. Basically everyone in line had one of these coupons, and there was a long line.

Hibiki: yes, they have veggie subs. My friend got one, and it looked pretty good. Someone who was in line behind us asked us what it was, and said it looked so good he would order one if only it had meat on it.

I am a Quizno's franchise owner and I think its great that everyone is responding well to the coupon. As a fellow forum member, I know its easy to get into the spirit of getting as much stuff as cheap as possible.

Just remember, the people who own these stores are not rich corporate giants. They are hard-working franchisees who foot the cost of this coupon themselves. Regardless of what everyone else says, owners are losing money on this deal. The subs are far from FREE. You have food cost, rent, labor, fees, taxes ... The guy above who says they are free has no idea what he is talking about.

The coupon is inteneded to introduce you to the product in the hopes that you will have a pleasant lunch experience and will come back again.

Eat up but don't punish these guys by walking in with 5 coupons and busting their bananas. You are lucky if you can make about 10 cents on the dollar. We are not rich guys. We have families to support and are just trying to make a living like you. When people abuse these coupons, it really hurts us.

The Plainview, NY store did not honor the coupon!!

I bought a sandwich anyway, but I won't be rushing back.

The coupon did its job with me since it was the first time I ever went to a Quizno, but the attitude left a bad taste in my mouth.

The main reason is because people tend to forget the "good at participating locations only".

The coupon is also spreading like wildfire, from HDers like us to, among other things, people on livejournal. with this many floating around, they're bound to stop it.

Accepted with no worries other than "What? Why isn't it in color?"... "umm, I don't have a color printer" "Oh OK" @ Jenkins/Cedar Hills Blvd in Beaverton, OR. The lady even gave it to me with a small drink, leading to a total of $1.99. I'm going back today.

Is your outlet accepting the coupon? Due to non-acceptance of the coupon, my local outlet lost me as a customer. Give me several free sandwichs and I can get hooked and be a lifetime customer. Nobody here, or anywhere else is abusing this coupon. Using several a day is not violating the T&C printed on the front of the coupon. Quiznos should have distributed the coupon in a different manner if they are concerned with abuse. If you ask me, not participating, or discontinuing the promo is a total copout on Quiznos part.

Exactly.

Also, my fellow co-workers and I are just killing the place nearby our work.
I went in last night with a buddy, and a younger mgr-on-duty and two younger
ladies were working. We kind of gave them the eyes/talked a little, then asked
for the subs "with the heel end of the bun." That's got to be a magic Quiznos'
code or something, because we each got the largest "small" sub I've ever seen.

The cashier even looked at me and said, "Umm...sir, you're supposed to order
a small."
"I did, honest," I replied. And my total came to $2.11. (Oh, we asked the hot
young Quiznos sub maker when she worked next - we'll be eating there tomorrow
for lunch. lol)

Man, I love this forum.
