Those locations where the employees/managers are telling folks that they are not reimbursed by Quiznow corporate speak with forked tongues. They are reimbursed for the cost of the sandwich, and they will get some new customers in the process.
This person speaks with a forked brain. I have said this before in a previous post, but, as a Quiznos owner, corporate does
NOT reimburse the franchisee for this offer. We lose money on each coupon.
As for the new customer, yes, to some extent. Mostly it is people like this person quoted above who just want to punish the business and get stuff for free. He won't end up being a valuable customer no matter what.
This offer was designed to introduce people to Quiznos and hope that they enjoy it and come back. It had good intent. However, it does no one any good when some jerk copies a thousand of them and stands in front of your store handing them out or stands in your lobby distributing them to ty and make himself look some sort of benefactor.
Guys that own these stores aren't millionaires. When franchisees reject the coupon, it is most likely because someone was doing the same to him. When people abuse the coupons to that extent, it ruins it for everyone.
