Free Snack at Safeway PLUS make .50!!!!!!!

At my Safeway (B&M) the Ore-Ida Chocolate Covered French Fries are on clearance for 99 cents. On the bag there is an instant coupon for $1.50 off THIS purchase AT checkout.
I haven't tried them yet. I have like 3 bags now in my freezer, and pick one up every time I get some food. Why not, they are giving me food and .50 off my purchase.

Don't know why, a friend of mine in High school used to dip fries in his Frosties from Wendy's. I tried it and it was so damn good.....

I have no idea why, worth a try especially if im getting paid for it

LOL.. I tried these things yesterday. Not exactly a gourmet snack but not bad. The chocolate get really crispy which adds to the texture. Definately reminded my of my childhood days were everything was good with chocolate.

chocolate covered french fries? urgh... never heard of that before... doesn't the chocolate melt off when you fry them? or is the chocolate mixed into the outside "crust" part of the fry? maybe they should make fries with the chocolate on the inside.

I've never seen these before but it doesnt take a genious to realize that they FRY THE FRIES then DIP THEM in chocolate.

Think of other chocolate covered foods.

You know those choco covered icecream scoops in a cone? Wouldnt the chocolate just mix in and make chocolate ice cream while they're mixing/making the icecream? They're magicians I say.

hahaha, very nice explanation but i think he was thinking about preperation on the consumer side..these are a FROZEN product, presumably meaning you will have to heat them somehow
