That would be with contract.

You may still get the BT headset for $19.99 after buying the phone w/o contract, but in that case phone would be $299, not free.

Please correct your title accordingly.

Blazing hot!! Especially if you use an area code where they offer 1000minutes for $39.99 and unlimited N/W. I might need to switch from AT&T.

Good deal! However I heard the T610 was for the euro market and thus the reception would not be as good as the T616 which was made for the american market. Other than that it looks like a great phone.

Blah, i got my t610 free with rebates a couple months back. All you need to do is to STAY AWAY FROM COMPANY RETAIL CELL PHONE STORES.

Stores such as the Cingular, Tmobile, AT&T, etc ALL RIP YOU OFF.

For example, in this part of the neighborhood, we have small cell phone stores that compete for customers. They'll offer free phones, rebates, and plenty of accessories. And most if not all only require a 1 year contract, unlike cingular/tmobile's 2 year. If you live in the Los Angeles area, cities such as Alhambra, San Gabriel, and Rosemead have PLENTY of these types of stores.

On my current plan, we have 3 phones and 3 lines. Two T616's and one v60, all for free. On top of that, we have the cingular rebates that should send back at least 150 dollars, i forget the actual rebate. And on top of that, we have an additional 40 dollar rebate from the store we bought the phones/service from.

Hmmm....maybe I should rephrase....what I mean is the following,

Wonder if TMO customer can get this deal by "extending" contract.....

Sorry for the confusion.

My friend got a T610 for $35 and 3 month of free service. If you had been with T-moblie for like 2 years...just call and tell them you want to cancel your phone number with them. They will offer you somthing to stay with them, my friend had to call twice to get this deal so this deal is YMMV, and depends on how long you had been with T-mobile.

Second way to get it is:

For people who had family plan just and willing to give up their exiting number or can use a new number. Just buy the phone from Amazon and after one month add the phone to your family plan. This way you only had to pay $10 extra for the new phone (the new phone #). This work best if you ask another family member to get the new phone and later do a change of reponsibly at a T-mobile store. This do work and I had do it twice already, so did my other freinds.

Yeah....terrible in Southern MI. They're very spotty. AT&T has better coverage, but neither are as good as Verizon or Sprint. Unfortunately, their phone deals stink, so it's either cool phone/less coverage or lame phone/good coverage

TMob does only Nite plans No Weekend... Plus for 39 bucks it's only 1000 mins with out any nites you gotta step up to 59 a month for that. Oh well.

This deal is even better. The Jabra headset is free now w/ or without a service plan. I signed up for the 3-day weekend plan, so I get fridays free too. The plan is the same cost as the non-3 day weekend plan at $39.99. I just hope that I didn't miss some fine print that will screw me over later.

I have this plan but the fine print is that weeknights are not unlimited on the 3-day weekend plan. They are a $2.99 add-on. Even with the added cost of unlimited weekends, this is a killer plan.

Just a quick note here, t-mobile ONLY offers 1 year contracts, and Cingular pushes 2 year contracts, but does offer 1 year.

i dont know what you're smoking - I have t 610 in ann arbor and the coverage is nearly excellent. I think the only closest thing would be verizon, but i dont like cdma/tdma . ATT gsm converage around here was horrible, it would drop my callc constantly

i got my t610 for -50 with car dapter and belt thingy from this place 1 year contract 39.99 plan

See http://www.myt610.net. Reception can be improved with an upgrade to the firmware, I'm still trying to figure out how exactly to do that as reception here in Cincinnati isn't 100% perfect and the phone is very touchy as far as reception goes(turn around in a circle and I can go from 1 bar to 4 bars).
