I don't care what Trump has done. He deserves an apology and KG should not have done this. That's why i haven't addressed this. It's irrelevant

If you don't care what Trump has done then why do you care what Griffin has done?

We get it. You're emotionally involved in this argument now and you're digging in. You don't have to do this.

Oh, so you're going to the 3rd grade deal of "yeah but you are too..."

I've made no comment on anything that happened to Obama. This isn't about him. You're trying to get in shots to make Trump look bad is not appealing. This is not the thread for that. If you want to talk about things done to Obama, start a thread on it. Don't use this thread to lessen Trump

No, this isn't about "what happened to Obama." It's about the hypocrisy of YOU in this thread. If you weren't being so blatantly hypocritical, there'd be no reason to even bring up Obama.

I notice you say nothing to refute the charge of hypocrisy. Evidently I am correct - you never called for an apology for any of the outrageous things that were said about Obama. did you?

It's irrelevant. I think a lot of things said about Obama were in poor taste and deserved apologies but that has nothing to do with this.

You're avoiding the substance of yet another post you can't answer. Trump engaging in far worse behavior about the same subject is directly relevant to the matter at hand. Anything you have to say about Griffin applies exponentially more to Trump. Can you explain why your standards for a comedian are higher than your standards for President?

I've made no comment of what standards I hold the President. Therefore your statement above is false.

Can you explain why you keep asking questions based on falsities?

Very limited vocabulary on your part. You can't even make a coherent argument. You are intensely frustrated that you can't make this about Trump as hard as you try.

Thanks Doctor. Glad you were able to infer that diagnosis. My point still remains that accountability is a lost virtue. Issuing an apology isn't the same as taking accountability. Free speech comes with accountability. So does being Commander in Chief. Both parties in this story could use some lessons in it.

I'm not, you're just desperately trying to avoid questions that you know you can't answer. Since this seems to be a problem let's take a minute and explore your views on this topic so that we all understand where you're coming from. That way we don't have any more of these misunderstandings.

You said someone working for CNN would lose their job in 12 hours if they refused to apologize for this. Do you agree with that? If not, what should the penalty be?

By "this" I was referring to the pictures posted about Obama. You're trying real hard to get me to say something negative about Trump and conservatives but it just ain't happenin'. Penalty? Penalty should be consistent as what I've said about KG. Public outrage and embarrassment.

Nope, just trying to get you to be logically consistent.

If I understand you correctly if Griffin worked for CNN and refused to apologize for this you would argue that she should keep her job. Is that correct?

EDIT: Also, why do you care if you say something negative about Trump or not?

You are right on this end. I'm not going to comment on the rest except to invite you to keep an open mind in turn when the shoe is on the other foot.

You didn't answer the question. I'll ask it again:

Why do you care about this conduct from a comedian but not care about it from the President of the United States?

I do care. It's just relevant to this situation. I don't think Trump the evil monster you seem to

The question you should be asking to those folks is why they answered my comment about deserve with the word demand. That's who's moving the goal posts. He need not waste his time demanding anything of this insignificant comedienne. But he does deserve an apology
This is absolute bullshit. You quoted me and stated I said he didn't deserve an apology. I said he was in no position to demand one. I said nothing about deserving. You shit all over the thread with your strawmen and then blame everyone else for your own inability to discuss what people actually said?

Whether CNN keeps her or not is up to them. If I were them I'd let her keep her job if she apologized directly to the Trumps but fire her otherwise.

free speech gone too far. Griffin should apologize directly to Trump and his family especially Trumps 11 year old son. what a horrible thing to see.

Thank you for being clear, this is very helpful!

Now that we've established that joking about someone's death and then refusing to apologize should be a firing offense for a CNN employee, correct?

With that in mind, would you agree that seriously calling for the death of five innocent teenagers and then refusing to apologize for it should be a firing offense for a president? If not, why would you hold the president to a lower standard?

Oh my fucking god.
LOL, if this is real, he has retreated into a fantasy world, to avoid facing it. He has reached the hysterical teenager at
Do you have anything other than personal attacks?
See, you can say something bad about Trump. By implying that having the same level of reading comprehension is an insult, you are implying Trump's sucks.

Yea, kinda like seeing an effigy of your dad burning in front of a church, or some 4th rate, county fair headliner calling for your dad or mom to suck on his machine gun, right?
