Irrelevant
nope, not the link, but the actual text, where I showed that ted nugent called for Obama and hillary to suck on his machine gun, no link reading needed, and you stated I didn't cite anyone famous then I cited your lack of reading comprehension, which appears to be, at this moment, accurate.
In that example he was saying that if found guilty of treason that he should suffer the death penalty. He probably thinks everyone guilty of treason should be hung. I don't agree with him.
CNN has cut ties with Griffin:

Are you joking? Do you know what the word irrelevant means?
You're saying he shouldn't be fired for his actions with the Central Park Five because the voters knew about it ahead of time and decided it didn't matter. It sure does matter if you're one of those people who voted for him. What you're saying in that case is what was a firing offense at CNN wouldn't be an offense that should keep a president from being hired. So once again we're back to you holding CNN to higher standards than the president.
Kudos to CNN who's at least applying consistent standards that apply across the board. That's more than I can say about the folks around here...
Enough people voted for him to get elected. It's irrelevant now. I know that frustrates you to no end. You've got another 3.5 yrs of him. Deal with it
I referred to Nugent directly here:
Ted Nugent does not regret anything he's said thus he hasn't apologized to anyone. I'd much rather KG do that than do a half assed apology designed to salvage her job.
Were these things done by anybody as famous as Kathy Griffin? A public person?
so suck on my machine gun isn't sufficient?
DERP.
not even in the same ballpark as holding up a gruesome bloody cut off head of a sitting president. the tit for tat bullshit you liberals do on this forum is really tiresome.
If something like this happened 10 years ago to Dubya, it would be universally condemned by most members here but for a few trolls.
Bottom line, free speech is all fine and dandy until said speech starts advocating violence against any group (based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, yadda yadda...) and that includes advocating violence against specific individuals.
How about him calling for Obama and Clinton to be hung?
Would hanging or burning effigies be any different than beheading them?
Or do they all advocate violence?
So it's OK to do this if it's Trump? At least you admit to the hypocrisy here
Wow...reading the comments, I'm surprised (but not really) at the bitter division here. If something like this happened 10 years ago to Dubya, it would be universally condemned by most members here but for a few trolls.
While I agree that conservative commentators screaming faux outrage at the left over this image are a) disingenuous, hypocritical fucktards, and b) trying to project this as something ALL the left/liberals are "ok with"...the fact remains this image crosses the line of acceptability by ANY STANDARD and is an example of free speech that should not be tolerated. I'm not advocating censorship, other than what the free market is already taking care of (KG's lost at least 2 ad deals and her CNN job.)
Bottom line, free speech is all fine and dandy until said speech starts advocating violence against any group (based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, yadda yadda...) and that includes advocating violence against specific individuals.
Now you're resorting to childish attempts to bait me instead of answering an easy question. You can save yourself the trouble as it won't work. Did you vote for Trump or not? Your repeated evasions strongly indicate that you did.
I'm simply looking to see if you are 'applying consistent standards across the board' in the way that you claim to wish people on this board did. It appears likely that you are not.

Hi mate, freedom of speech is very important to me, but when you hurt someone with what you say, and not only in front of yourself, but in front of millions of other people, and through your opinion you can hurt the image of growing minds, such as Trump's kids, you need to give it a little thought before acting. I am only saying that this should have come from her, not someone else, but if it didn't there should be consequences to the actions of anyone. It is my freedom to do whatever I want, but that doesn't mean that if I hurt someone I shouldn't be held responsible for that.Everything you wrote after this, contradicted this.
why even ask that? is the comparison is equal to you? one was done so it makes the other ok? is that how you live your life?
free speech gone too far. Griffin should apologize directly to Trump and his family especially Trumps 11 year old son. what a horrible thing to see.
lol, oknot even in the same ballpark as holding up a gruesome bloody cut off head of a sitting president. the tit for tat bullshit you liberals do on this forum is really tiresome.
You need a better analogy. This one doesn't fit. I understand you're struggling and all.
If you get hired for a new job in January and your employer knew full well about an incident you did in 2014, it would not be considered a fireable offense now.
I guess your take is that all Trump voters are hypocritical if they feel KG should be fired for this. That's a pathetic take on your part but that's on you.
