if nice looking lady's naked picture is what you're looking for...
then, why swimsuit issue? why not ... say playboy or some other porn magazines?

i guess i never understood... the hype of SI swimsuit issues.

Just got my catalogues for the IS300 and the SC430 yesterday. The SC430 looks niiiiice... Now only if I had the $$. Oh well... I guess I'm going to have to go home and read the cover letter to see if they mentioned anything about the calendar or not. Thanks for the deal!

There was an article about this exact porn vs. swimsuit question years ago in sports illustrated. Supposedly, one of the top porn producers said he finds a swimsuit issue more erotic. It has to do with the suggestive nature and leaving the rest to your imagination. Beats me, since I don't bother looking at either. The real thing beats both hands down...

You really can't understand why people would like a swimsuit calendar? Either you're impotent (even then i would think you could understand why men would want to look at beautiful women in bikinis), or you're mentally deficient (maybe you're lacking a theory of mind or you have the reasoning skills of a chimp?).

Here's a clue: Because they're nice eye-candy. Why some choose SI over Playboy? Some don't, some do prefer Playboys, but some do prefer SI because it's a bit more mainstream. Now, the reason why SI is popular culturally is because they do choose more beautiful women, AND they've been doing this for a lot longer (calendar wise) than any other competitor, so they have become more mainstream and accepted. Have a Playboy calendar up and you'll like run into trouble, but having a SI calendar up most likely you won't.

Am I right or wrong? i don't know, but at least some of us has the cognitive capacity to come up with ideas, something you seem to be totally lacking.
