Flaming a deal because you dont believe in the item is selling is a very childish act, and i would ask you to please respect others and grow up.

you and i both know that a deal for a palestinian pin would get flamed as well..

and just to add some flames to the fire; anyone who believes israel is not just as responsible is an ignorant fool.

Posting a free pin is in fact the point of the hot deals forum. Where this thread has trouble is the people who make the free item a matter of politics.

The answer is simple...
If you are against what the pin stands for (or possibly stands for) or have a grudge (ligitimate or otherwise) against Isreal or anything political, then don't view the thread and don't reply.
If you are for what the pin stands for (or possibly stands for) or are a staunch supporter of Isreal or big into politics don't reply.

We are not here to debate politics or judge those whom support or don't support a political ideal. This forum is for HOT DEALS

If you think this is a hot deal and want to bump the thread, then please reply.

If you wish to debate/disuss politics, take it to off topic. The discussion of politics here will simply cause this thread to be locked.

I think I'll pass on the pin and sit here at my PC enjoying my freedom all the while feeling glad that our native indians don't feel the same way that the Palestinians do...

Agreed.

If you guys want to discuss the politics behind this pin then take it to off topic. This is HOT DEALS and this is a free lapel pin - free is a good price, thus a hot deal.

Thanks for the deal.

This is not only hot(FREE!!!) but is at very appropriate time.

however for america-haters, and I dont neccessarily mean foreigners -- american-born america-haters who thing our country is the greatest evil, who blame our foreign policy for 911, who scream civil rights at every possible junction, this could be a deal-killer. Its very unfortunate that many yound and old americans do not appreciate their country like I do, because I lived elsewhere, I know how it is in some other countries and I know that there are places that are much worse then what Ive experienced. Why do I know this? because my wife goes to San Francisco State university, the second most liberal school in US after UC Berkeley. And guess what journalism professors talked about on 9/11/02???/

Is political propaganda a hot deal?

Free Pin to support your country and our biggest ally = hot deal.

Biggest ally? Also one of the biggest leeches (in terms of the $$$ we blow on other countries).

And I'm a supporter of Israel.

Hmm... and the thread isn't being locked like some humor in the Enron auction thread.

So what else is there to say really without getting political? Like maybe if you snap off the Israel part, you get an American pin? Or is that political, too?

Interesting ...

we give Israel over $3 billion a year ... there are 280,000,000 people in america, of which i would guess less than 200,000,000 pay taxes ... that comes out to over $15 per taxpayer per year. and what do we get in return? suicide bombers in our country and a pin.

hot deal? hardly.

If you'd like to discuss this in an intelligent manner and actually learn the facts behind the conflict, I invite you to send me an email and I will be glad to explain the situation to you. It's a little more complicated than "suicide bombers" and "self-defence".

Just because you don't agree with 100% of your nation's actions and policies does not make you unpatriotic, any less of a citizen, a traitor, or anything else. It's the same reason democracies have different political parties - because people have differing views. Wow - what a concept.

Too funny! I love it.

Sorry, I had to reply to these As for the deal, hey it's free, and it's hot. Perfectly legitimate, but it would obviously cause thread-crapping.

If you want one, sign up. If you don't, don't sign up.

way too much for me to start on here... but by all means, turn this into the hot deals/political ramblings (ramblings, because neither side has been represented intelligently enough to call this a debate) forum.
all i'm going to say is thanks for the offer. ttt
