Free Starbucks on February 9th

I was just in my local Starbucks, and they had these little notes stating that on February 9th, several of their beverages will be free, just for asking. As I took one of these notes with me, when I went to look for it just before, I can't find it. I looked for over an hour, so I am sooooo sorry that I am vague on the details, but I will call them in the morning, get all the details, and revise this post.

actually, in so cal, there're 2 starbux in the Metro Point shopping place, one's in a Barnes and Nobles.

Cool, now I have a reason to go to Starbucks. I've never been to one, I just refuse to pay $4 bucks for coffee.

Well, I got $500+ reasons to go to Starbucks, as just 3 hours before Flooz went by-by, they processed my order for 58 $10 gc's, and 12 Beverage books. I emptied my Flooz account literally in the nick of time. Too bad Starbucks will never get paid for my order.

Wanna blow your mind? Look at your limited selection to choose from in Seattle , amazing. And we only have 10 here in Cowtown.

Not for nothing, but I will give you my 2 cents worth of free advice:

You pay twice as much for coffee at Starbucks, for (in my opinion) coffee that tastes like crap. - however, for free it is good
You can go to Dunkin' Donuts or 7-11 and get coffee for half (or even a third) the price, and (to me) it tastes better.

You are right. Actually, they are not Starbucks at all. They are B&N cafes serving Starbucks products.

In the movie "Dog Show", a couple tell the story of how they met. They first saw each other across the street while they were sitting in different Starbuck's.

actually the last time i tried at B&N, it was for the free starbucks cappacino on christmas coupon. they honored it, and the girl knew about it before hand too, that is she didn't have to read it or looked confused at this slip of paper. i did it around chicago area. i am assuming it's all over, but you might want to check

In Houston TX, there are actually 2 stand-alone Starbucks literally right across the street from one another. Jon Stewart made fun of them a few months ago on his Daily Show.

In San Francisco there are 19 Starbucks within 0.5 mile of the Metreon, 40 within 1 mile!

Since I am an avid Simpsons fan.... Here's my knowledge of that scene.

[Bart heads to the mall to get his ear pierced. Goes past one Starbucks, the next store has a sign outside "Coming Soon: Starbucks." He then heads into the piercing store]

[ad-lib]
Bart: Hey man, can I get my ear pierced?
Storekeep: Sure, but you better hurry...In 5 minutes this place is turing into a Starbucks!

[Shows Bart coming out of the store with an earing and drinking a Starbucks coffee. Camera then zooms out to show the store is now a Starbucks. Camera then zooms out really far to show that every single store in the mall (on both floors!) is now a Starbucks!]

I still laugh everytime I see that episode!
