Free Starz for 1 Year for Dish Network Customers

Flipping through the Dish channel guide I saw a bunch of stuff not listed under the previews - One Encore & 7 Starz channels. The info channel said something like "To celebrate 30 years of service we're giving customers a free year of Starz channels" - good until 2/2012 :awe:

While it sounds good it was more or less a peace offering to offset the $5 a month price increase. Free? Maybe...

Dish Network? Never - ever again. By far, the most horrible customer service experience of my life!

Dish Network is just fine for me. I've been with them for 4 1/2 years!

I signed a two year contract with Dish Network a few months ago. I noticed that they did raise their prices since the signing of my contract. I contactd them and told them that either they break my contract or put the price back to what I signed up for. They refunded me the difference and put me back at the price I signed up for. Don't let them raise your prices if you signed a contract.

We have had constant 'Complete Signal Loss' drops for the past month, even on a relatively clear day, and it seems to affect the higher numbered channels more. Called today to threaten dropping them, and they are sending someone over tomorrow.

Its never been this bad, and last time we called to complain they brushed it off as weather related. Squeaky wheel gets the grease from them ... they are refunding us some $$ as well.
