I don't know the truth behind this because I and my husband are both registered @ Ebay (maybe I'll register my Cat to see if this works)
Anyway, if you are not a registered user of Ebay supposedly you can get a free T-Shirt when you register!

In the registration area use:
ut-ah-utes

in the Promotional code area...

Same here... I registered MANY months ago with no go. This is a long-dead deal, so don't even bother...

I too have heard rumors about ebay and such claiming to provide free merchandise which is then backed by the excuse 'while supplies last'.

For most businesses, the 'supplies' represent epsilon (the lowest number greater than zero) ......

I got this reply on 6/7 about the t-shirt!

Thank you for writing about the free t-shirt promotion you read about Unfortunately, the promotional code posted on these third-party sites was a very old one, and referred to a promotion that ended two years ago. eBay has no promotions currently running. We have asked these sites to remove this invalid promotion from their listings. I am sorry forany confusion this has caused.

there was a beanie bear offer a while ago that i signed up for and believe it or not, it got that bear about 6 months later. i had forgotten totally about it.
