Just a side note for people. I called Outpost to check out the status of an order I placed last month and talked with a person that was from my neck of the woods. Anyway, the person said that they cancelled like 3,000 orders for the Zip drives that were posted free.

If you don't think that an order for 40 drives or 10 at a time will not send a bright signal to the order processor, or shipper or someone throughout the order process, you're an idiot!

Also, I've only ordered from Outpost 1 time and it's been the worst transaction I've ever had online. Why? Because I still haven't received my $20 order and it's been over 1 month!

Ashlied23, if you do work for Outpost, you're employer should be spending more time making customers happy instead of losing them left and right because you can't fill orders and you can't figure out how to put a price tag on your merchandise. LOSERS!

Kinda Off Topic, But thought this might be a good place to ask this question. Is UPS and/or FEDEx covered by the same laws as USPS? If so if you ordered And confirmed at $10 and then they charge you $400 if is mail fraud. Also if someone mails you something (through USPS) they have to hold to the original contract, no do overs! Just wondering if anyone knew the answer.

BTW why would an outpost employee be trying to find the Zip Drives here? I am sure they have a shipping manifest or log. I cannot believe that they don't have some way of pulling those orders after they have been shipped. I have always pushed to get the discount @ B&M when it is mismarked but With Estores the damage can be swift and extreme. If you get it great, If not you have no reason to complain. THis is however a two way street and if they ship they should abide by the ORIGINAL Agreement, no matter how luticrous it may seem. Charging more after the fact is wrong I don't care how you look at it. I have worked both retail and inside sales and Trying to get more money after the fact never, never, never, works. If you do get it you will never get that customer to buy from you again.

Outpost let those who received The drives keep them. You blew it. Fire who ever is in control of your price postings. Implement a quality control system and avoid these problems in the future. People jumping on this deal is no different than you getting uninformed buyers to pay retail prices for anything,.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Outpost.com. My latest came from an Antec case I ordered last week. For some reason Airborne Express didn't deliver it. I called about it, the woman couldn't figure out what went wrong. Rather than trying to get out of something, she made a note on my order and told me that she was going to get a supervisor to call me back. An hour later I get a supervisor who was very kind and helped me and said "I'll get something out to you for your trouble". Woo. (My luck, it'll be a "Martian Thing" squeeze toy )

Side note #2, regarding the Antec case that I ordered. There was a piece of the side panel that was cracked a bit. I called outpost, they said they'd send me a new one but they recommended I call Antec. I called Antec, started to explain my predicament and the guy cut me off with a chuckle. "So what's your name and address so we can send you a new panel? Don't worry a bit." That'll have me singing Antec praises for years to come.
