You still gotta pay for it to ship...you know that right? The only free thing is the box...
The shipping of priority mail supplies to your home has always been free. You can go to the Click-n-Ship website and order all kinds of supplies, shipped for free to your home.
You still gotta pay for the item to be delivered to the desired location...So, technically, shipping isn't free, the boxes are. Everyone knows that, they've been airing commercials for more than about 8 months.
You can get these for free at the post office you know?
assuming that you are right.
You have to pay for gas to get there, not to mention the depreciation on your car. They will ship the kit to you for free so you are saving money and time! Because time is money also.
We were talking about the shipping of the supplies to your home being free.
No one would actually ever think that the Priority Mail shipping costs would be free.

Umm, from the way the thread is setup, that is exactly what seems to be implied.

I agree. I was surprised that the USPS was giving people "trial postage" or something similar until I read the thread.
Boxes have always been free, so there's no "deal" there, it's just a bundle of different box sizes. They give you the boxes hoping you will use them by paying postage. I guess they charge themselves to deliver them.
It remeinded me of when UPS basically gave away a free small box with paid postage trying to get people to switch from FedEx or something, that was back around 2000 or so.
