You may think you are cool and getting over, but all of us honest people pay, in the long run (increased postal rates, etc..). What happens when USPS decides to not offer the priority boxes for free anymore due to the amount of FRAUD they've incurred?

maybe we should be more worried about corrupt USPS themselves...for instance, i was to recieve guild wars nightfall last week and recieved an opened empty package from gamestop. The mailman thought it was weird that it was empty...i called usps and they said they had lots of reports of empty packages...apparantly they have lots of employees taking the goods for themselves...thanks for the competence guys...now I have to file paperwork just to get the damn game again....oh and my wife's BRIDES magazine came today and guess what, it looked like 4 dobermans thought it was a leg of lamb...pathetic if u ask me

the real reason we are paying more in postage is due to the fact that our president is a ****** up and drives our country into debt...postage is another form of taxes, just remember that every cent you spend on ur charlie brown stamps goes to increasing our stockpile of nuclear weapons and keeping our brothers in that sand dune of blood

just to add to the topic don't forget that the carrier will pick up your priority mail too for free - come right to your door. excellent service but you have to have at least 1 priority box going out, and then you can harve parcel post or whatever. i use it all the time - saves me many hours throughout the week.

and this has been going on for years, which is great and for those that don't know i know at least puerto rico is under the umbrella so i am assuming any us territory you can't beat the price and when you take into consideration the shear volume of items the usps handles, i would say they do a damn good job

I'd also like to make another note.

You're not supposed to send anything media mail EXECPT for media.

But yes, free priority boxes FTW. I just go to the post office and ask for them. They always have them, and there's a box for pretty much anything. Too bad they don't have a shipping supplies recycling thing going on... you know, open your box up there, deposit your peanuts or bubblewrap in a box... that way the next guy who ships something doesn't have to spend lots of $$$ on packing materials just to ship something. They can just pull it out of the box. Less waste too!

I wouldn't want to recycle boxes though... shipping addressses FTL.

Too bad the only free boxes are for (mostly overpriced) priority mail. I wish they had all of those bubble and cardboard media envelopes that they sell for $1-2 to be used with media-mail shipments.
