I agree. The movie is the true story of the last two rescue workers saved from the rubble. It looks very positive, not controversial.

That Newsweek article was, indeed, positive... shifting my attitude from utter, overwhelming contempt to indifference. At least the two rescued workers are enthusiastic about the film, and (unlike many of Stone's other films) there was an attempt at verisimilitude, using the real rescue workers as advisors and actors.

It doesn't make the current government look good and while it does put a very negative "spin" on terrorism I think that is justified.
Unless you classify a message of hope as propaganda I don't see how you perceive this to be propaganda.

Glanced at a few "bullet point" under a URL anchored from the above site: they were patently lame, ignoring well executed studies of the buildings' modes of structural failure. Anyone who watched the PBS documentary a few years ago would know more than these "experts". I'm a skeptic in life, but the issues I saw raised were human ignorance at its best.

Which still leaves me indifferent to the movie.

Although I didn't PERSONALLY know anyone who worked at the towers, I do know someone who worked at 7 WTC (the only OTHER building to fall). She luckily wasn't there that day, she was on disbability and due to go back to work on Sept 12....!!!!!

Anyway, When I first saw the ad for this on TV, I thought HOW COULD THEY. Noone I know will go see it. Are there really people out there who have been so UNAFFECTED by this that they will go see it?
