What if say you were to buy this, sell or use the zip, and than have doubts about WinME? So you would be screwed and unable to return it? Just wondering.

ok the free zip drive is the 100 meg usb version 99.99 retail! It is free with upgrade (89.90) & full (179.90) but not step up version (49.90) and yes this is valid online but total is 129.00- mir of 40.00 so you need to buy somthing else in order to use 30 off of 150.00 coupon but you can use the 25.00 off of 100.00 coupon!

All of these freebies with Windows ME are starting to tick me off. I used Flooz I've built up over the past few months to get Windows ME at Outpost.com. Now, everybody and their mother is offering lots of free stuff. Staples has like $550 of stuff, OD has a whole bunch of stuff and now this Zip drive at OM. (Outpost = nothing free with ME).

Guess I can't complain too much got ME for free after all of those Flooz deals.

I think all the latest goodies that come with Win Me is Microsoft's strategy to prevent its average users from defecting to Linux or the Mac OS.

If the justice department tells us that we can't make our products free, then we will just give people lots of goodies to lockin them in to Microsoft. Think about it, Win Me upgrade/step up are already selling for cheaper prices than comparable Linux packages. If Microsoft throws in an bit of extra sweetener here and there, those people who would rather buy their operating system instead of downloading gigabytes off the Internet would thoughtlessly purchase the next Microsoft product.

Just my conspiracy theory of the day.

Ok so it's $129.99 - $40 MIR and a free usb zip drive...PLUS there's a $25 off $100 coupon...with the coupon it's $104.99 and free shipping, and then $40 back with the rebate making it $64.99 for the full version...so as long as you get $64.99+ on fleaBay, you're set! (Great deal, i'll probably end up doing just that, my parallel port zip drive sucks, hell the zip drive in general sucks, but free is free).

Dhendra that is not the full for 64.99 after rebate that is the upgade version from 95 or 98! Stepup is for 98 only (but does not include zip ) and full is well the full version! read OM if you still dont understand!

True..but all in all a great deal, you know you're gonna get more than $65 on -eBay, it's going for like $90 at the moment...which means you could actually end up with some spare cash AND a free zip drive...too bad this freakin' $25 off $100 coupon isn't working for me...
