Omg cancel culture means saying sorry when I use the n word /fainting couch

Are we pretending the apology is real, or that anyone would accept it?
Cancel meaning the damage is done, no action will undo it.

The lesson the Left would have you learn is that once a sinner always a sinner. Might as well burn it all down to spite them.

How can I answer that until you explain what their notion means?

They will respond in kind to the danger they feel is posed against them. A year ago they wanted a military coup, but fell short of achieving it. Who knows what form it will take in the future. I just expect escalation and eye for an eye, that one good turn deserves another. Perhaps they will take Congress and press for newfound censorship against the Left.

I'm just sorry he is so bitter. I only have to endure his occasional insults. He lives in his skin 24 7. He wasn't born that way.
Indeed.
It seems that righteous indignation has become the preferred method of disagreement, always justified by the words of others. The irrefutable "he started it" defense.

I'm willing to go you one better. I am a fascist authoritarian when it comes to medical science as the be all and end all authority. When the medical consensus is that vaccination and masks save lives, I believe that bad actors without countervailing reasons not to comply should lose their rights to intermingle with the public generally.

The problem with my kind of thinking, that the insane can't be allowed to endanger the sane, is dangerous itself because the last people to recognize their own insanity is the insane.

The additional problem this brings with it is that I know I am sane and it's the rest of you who are nuts.

The correct answer would be that you can urge people to do anything as long as it doesnt conclude with mass deaths of your fellow human beings, including those not in your cult.
So, you're a Nazi, in principle you can urge people to support gas chambers for a minority. You can do that. Until you start gassing people. Then you cant.
Clear enough?

Yes I'm sure you have a long list of examples of the "left" "escalating" things.

I think that’s a misunderstanding of him on your part. His posts come from passion, frustration, confusion, and personal experiences.

Have you never had a heated argument where you were so passionate to the point that you could no longer articulate clearly your points and you lashed out in frustration?
Me, the great Moonbeam? Hell no! But just between you and me, we never accuse anybody of anything we haven't at some time been guilty of. How else would we know what we are looking at? Keep that our little secret.

Could you imagine me with a wife or one that could remind you of every mistake you made in the last fifty years? All you need is imagination to suffer cold sweats. I figured he's got one of those as the reason he sounds like he does.

Is it genuinely fascist to give people a choice where the refusal is a consequence of their own actions? Is it even authoritarian to give people that choice? I don't think so. Specifically when they can get tested weekly instead but refuse that as well.

I don't think it is, if it is then requiring you to wear clothes when intermingling is clearly fascist as well, is it not? Or is social standards somehow higher than medical advice in your mind?

It looks like the government IS getting in on the action.
And that's why the mention of rights of "private companies" is a false argument because time and time again government is working in concert with "private companies" to silence expression.

Maybe people should focus on racists in the government instead. Racists cops and systemic racism? https://www.politico.com/news/2022/...izes-for-calling-white-cops-crackers-00005887

I can think of a few things I could say to you that would get me censored but, of course, I would have to lie to do so. But I am good a lying.

I think we can work on ALL racists. No need to restrict it to what job they hold. We have the man power and technology.

Since trump was booted, blatant racism doesnt pay as much as it used to.
This is all about money. If somebody apologizes today its cuz they want to preserve their income.

Why doesn't Joe Rogan just repeat the same talking points as the CIA would like him to repeat? This guy is something else! The only solution is to take him off the air. Only CIA and establishment viewpoints allowed.

Didn't read the article in OP because Neil Young didn't censor Joe Rogan.
Or a country, for that matter.

When it was decided that the Left did not want the Right to share twitter with them, the Right moved to Parlor following mass incidents of silencing and censorship. The result? The Left attacked and shutdown Parlor. The lesson they learned is that, unless the Right stands up and uses force to assert themselves, they will forever be harassed. To even have a voice, they must assert full control. Thus far nothing has really come of it, but "free speech" remains is boiling pot waiting to explode.

The Spotify incident is just another example of turbulence under the surface. Of a people, Left and Right, vying to boycott and end one another's speech.
Parler seems to be up? Are you talking about when it was taken down after it was used for coordinating legitimate political discourse on January 6th?

I missed this beauty.

Who is the “left” that canceled the right on Twitter? And specifically how did they cancel the right? Same question with regards to parlor.

If you can’t answer those clearly, then I suggest you check your programming again as you are spewing bull shit uncritically.

Also, are people allowed to criticize others? Are they allowed to use their power as a consumer to push for change at a public company?

Humor us and give it the old college try.
Sure, why not. I can probably gin up a howling tempest of censorship and ridicule to boot by telling you you're the most intelligent, politically sophisticated, and Godlike person I have ever had the pleasure of addressing.

I'm looking forward to that howling tempest of censorship and ridicule while informing me that I'm "the most intelligent, politically sophisticated, and Godlike person I have ever had the pleasure of addressing.".

This whole episode shows the lack of institutional power Black people have. Rogan is still on air after equating black people to Apes and his comments on the lack of minds of Black people. Forget the Ni**er usage, those comments were much much more revelatory of who is is.
