Hi. I installed Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB SSD one week ago and i installed Windows 10. First couple days everything is fine. But since two days ago computer locks up at Windows start screen, sometimes. It happens at login screen and never happens loading screen (which windows logo appears). I tried these steps to solve the problem and none of them works:
*Checking SSD, HDD for bad sectors
*Replacing data cable for SSD
*Uninstalling AI Suite and disabling user mode for fan settings at BIOS(I was very suspicious about this, because the problem started two days after i installed this tool)
*Checking memory modules with memtest
*Trying with each one memory module, reseating them, try them on different slots
*Try clean boot
*Disabling all startup programs
When i searched for help, the forums said there are possible reasons that don't exist on my system:
*Fast boot
*Virus(according to Bitdefender Total Security no virus have been found)
*Some boot configurations
*Overclock(everything at stock settings)
There's only thing that i didn't try: Re-install Windows. It will take time and if any software causes this i can't detect.
Can Windows update cause this? It doesn't not seem likely because last update happened yesterday and there's no update history record between yesterday and installation time.
What is the possible reasons of this issue.
System is on my signature,(+new SSD+wİN 10) i am using Cat 15.7.1(Avoiding Crimson Driver)
