Hey all, here's the issue. Sometimes when I shut down the computer, upon booting up the computer will freeze while loading win7. I'll reboot and successful get to the desktop where the clock has been reset (even resets in the bios).
I know what you're thinking: I need a new battery for the bios. I bought a new battery and the computer was fine for several days but now is back to its old ways.
Any ideas? I have a few ideas (old mobo - maybe leaky capacitors, outlet has been flickering a bit lately - poor power?) but maybe someone knows better than me.
The computer is a s939 X2 4400+ (low voltage) cpu on an ATI XPress200 chipset w. an Nvidia GT240.
