Someone ought to inform this to PayPal directly... Not the hosting company. What is the hosting company going to do, other than to just ban their account?

Can't any of these scammers ever do it with correct punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and grammar?

I can bet you that the scammer is from a foreign nation, and that PayPal won't be able to take legal action-- Nor will the hosting company.

We should get everyone to fill in bogus e-mail and passwords for this moron.

A little bit of payback is in order. Hmm.. 10,000 AT'er e-mails in his box?

If it wasn't toll free, I probably would not have called. I'm cheap.

Keep in mind that if you call a 800/888 etc number, by law they can see your caller ID, and usually do (because of billing purposes) even if you have it blocked.

So do NOT call from your home phone, call from a payphone. Not only is it anonymous, but its far far costlier to do it from a payphone to these guys

Aww that sucks. Good thing I didn't sign up for a PayPal account. I was going to but then I don't think I will after this incident.

Nothing is wrong with paypal, just don't submit your username and password to non-https://www.paypal.com sites

I agree. I've just been clicking the back button after I submit- my fake user ID will still be there, and then I submit again. Though they're not original, it is high volume.

I just clicked the link and it gives me "The Page can not be displayed" message and the URL changed to
"http://www.paypal.com@paypais.com/"
Do you think that he tries to redirect it to www.paypals.com?

Thank you for the alert.

Please remember that even though PayPal isn't an official bank IT IS A BANK.

So treat it as such.

I can bet that scammers try to attack real online banks like this too.

Are you nuts?

1.92% Interest on my balance and 1.5% back on debit card purchases. That's better than most banks these days.

why would you blame paypal for this scam? i have been using paypal for years now and not a single problem. paypal are not the scammers, but those jerks trying to disguise themselves as paypal.

-fix the problem instead of pointing the blame.

Aw, I wanted to leave some bogus accounts as well, but the site is shut down now. Well that's a good thing, hope other people didn't fall for this.
