I tried to book a Southwest flight from MSP to JAX for 9/13, returning 9/16. The site says there's no service that day (or anything near it in September). BUT, I can book a flight from MSP to MDW and then MDW to JAX and the reverse for the return and still mke all my connections on those dates.
Why would this be any different than a normal connection? Isn't that what airlines are supposed to do, find those connections for you so that you fly with them?
