So I JUST finished building my computer, went to fire it up and everything working fine (no strange beeps, no warning lights lit up on mobo, etc.)

EXCEPT, I'm not getting any sort of picture on my monitor, it's as if nothing is connected to it.

Here's a pic just to show you guys what kind of connection i'm using with the adapter.

That same setup works on my current PC (using it now).

Specs:
i7 3770k
GTX 680
Sabertooth z77 mobo

Oh and I double checked the connections on my gfx card, all good.

Any help?

By no video I'm assuming there's no post. First check your cable and reseat it again and retest. Also, reseat your video card and retest. If you were using the same dvi cable as your previous setup then the next thing I'd want to isolate is the video card. Your cpu & mobo support on-board graphics (Intel HD4000). You're going to need an HDMI to DVI adapter. If the video works with the on-board then you've isolated your problem. You could also use a known working video card (from your other rig?).

I'm done messing with it tonight, but I'll try re-seating it and such tomorrow (maybe even just buy an HDMI cable). I'll update this thread tomorrow, thanks.

Try moving the graphics card to a different slot on the motherboard to see if that might force the system to initialize it (I think the x16 PCIe slot furthest from the CPU, the one on the edge of the board, defaults to x1 mode so don't use that slot - use the one closest to the CPU or the middle slot). I presume the power leads are plugged in to the video card?

Just after the power is turned on, if the system is actually making it through the post process the Sabertooth Z77 board produces a single beep. Are you hearing this? If not, the system may not be posting (or the case speaker isn't connected on the motherboard to allow you to hear beep codes). I also presume there are no flashing LEDs on the motherboard (either the CPU LED or memory LED, specifically)?
