Crucial vs Mushkin? I'd say their quality is pretty much equal (excluding the Mushkin generic/value stuff). Service and support are both very good as well. You can't go wrong with either company really. Buy whichever is cheapest at the time ...

I can't speak for crucial but I can speak for Mushkin. I have 1 GB of the stuff and I can tell you that it is excellent quality and they have the best customer service that you can get. Just my .02 worth.

Is Mushkin ever cheaper than Crucial? This is almost 256 MB price for 128 MB. Probably a little better if you are into extreme FSB overclocking but if that's the case why not get some PC150? That being said this is still about the best price I've seen for some Mushkin Rev. 2 loving.

The deal is still going on with free shipping. When you click on the weekend special ad on the home page it says $89, but the next page still shows $79.

in another thread, someone pointed out the basic pc133 $39 lunch time special he got is PQI chips.

I'd say that's a low quality cheapy memory, price is ok for $39, about same price in Asia.
but at regular $47 that's over priced, better to buy Crucial.

Yeah Muskins budget is real 'budget'. I dont think they even make those boards. They probably just buy some ready made stuff and hands it out as muskin.

ill tell you that mushkin is a great company, a few months after i bought my ram, some guy from mushkin called me up and asked me how the ram was doing, i thought that down-to-earth approach will retain customers in the long run, i know they got me

btw, micron RAM = crucial RAM. crucial is a subdivision of micron.

I have a stick of mushkin rev. 2 cas 2 128mb... it works great, i've got my p3 700 running at 966 so i guess it's doing the job.

I bought 2 of the same ram last monday for 2 sticks of 128m rev 2 pc133 for 141 shipped with fedex 2 day air, BTW great memory, running @ 2,2,2 @156 Mhz.
