So, i managed to uninstall the NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) but the 8 NVIDIA High Definition Audio kept reappearing. So, for now leaving them just disabled.

Ok, so my problem has not been fixed and i seem to be getting the sound getting stuck for a few seconds and then my system pausing every other 30 secs to a whole minute, with just Firefox, Zonealarm, Winamp and Flashplayer in use running on two displays. Also the cursor keeps getting stuck in different phases.
And finally this seems to be happening with more regularity. So yeah, system still hosed looks like.

[Edit] My card is not running to hot, it's only at 55ºc)

Have you done any tweaking of settings in the BIOS?

From here, the issue is very broad and will require a lot of troubleshooting. I had this problem pop up before for me, and I believe I narrowed it down to being 1 of 2 things for my particular problem:
 1. VCore wasn't the correct amount to maintain a stable CPU clock
 2. LAN adapter was faulty, so I disabled that 1 and used the other
I'm really stretching there to help you on your problem, but maybe it will lead to the real problem if it doesn't fix it.

{Disclaimer} If you need help messing with the BIOS, feel free to ask. Certainly, under no circumstances, go in and start changing things without knowing what's what.

Edit: Were you able to uninstall those NVIDIA audio devices by following what I posted in #18?

From there, you can uninstall them (disable, reboot into safe mode, make sure still disabled in safe mode, uninstall, run CCleaner or the like, reboot into normal mode).

Edit #2: Is the stuttering appearing while in safe mode?

I have not nor do i know how to tweak the BIOS settings but would appreciate any help.

It is quite possible it could be my processor. I updated the driver then rolled it back after it caused me some trouble. And until i did this as suggested by the ObieOne guy when i started to receive that error and the same time i started experiencing this particular problem. And it seemed to work. Until recently and tonight it seems to happen quite frequently.

And , no i was only able to uninstall the NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) but the 8 NVIDIA High Definition Audio kept reappearing. So, for now leaving them just disabled.

First things first, let's see how the computer runs in Safe mode. Then we can at least determine if you need to even bother with messing with anything in the BIOS.

While in safe mode, also try to disable and uninstall those NVIDIA audio services.

I was in safe mode when i went to uninstall them. Tried several times to uninstall them and learned that when you uninstall 1 all 8 are removed and that upon reboot to safe mode, they reappear.

As far as running in safe mode, it's hard to say, but there isn't enough going on to get an accurate prediction, but i'd say it works just fine in safe mode.

Did you run CCleaner or something to remove the registry keys after you did the uninstall? My understanding is that they'll keep popping back up until you clear those registry keys. CCleaner should take care of that. Run it right after you uninstall.

Run safe mode with networking and see if browsing some sites seems smooth.

Ok posting from safe mode. browsing some sites and running flash player on youtube. So the first thing i noticed is that after removing the 8 NVIDIA High Definition Audio then following that up by running the registry cleaner in CCleaner.Upon reboot, it had manually reinstalled all 8, claiming the system found new hardware. The second thing i noticed is, that i have no sound playing on the youtube video i have open. Then i opened up other applications and they have no sound as well.

Safe mode won't load sound drivers, so that's nothing to worry about.

But it seems to be running smoothly?

I am running four windows, and all is well sans sound. Pulled up Crunchyroll.com just to test. So far no issues. Depending, and aside from tonight, and being careful to not do anything that had proved to exacerbate the problem, it can take days sometimes, or minutes.

Well, I've not experienced the NVIDIA sound plague myself, so I'm just going off of what I can find out on the intarwebs.

You may want to try uninstalling the NVIDIA drivers entirely, then run a CCleaner, then reboot into normal mode. See if that cures the initial problem of stuttering. Then we'll at least know it's those drivers and try a different driver version or installing without the HDMI audio.

After you get that done and are in normal mode and are still experiencing problems: power off, swap your video output from your GPU to your onboard graphics and pop out that graphics card. Then boot into safe mode and run CCleaner again. Reboot into normal. Let's see if it all hinges around that card just being on the system.

Ok, i'll try this now and post the results tomorrow. Got to get some sleep. Thanks for helping me out with this. I am just totally exhausted by this problem.

[EDIT] Well the first part anyways. I'll need some instructions if we do that last step.

(Conversely, could this be a problem with my updating my processor driver, then rolling it back?)

Go get some rest! Troubleshooting this junk is exhausting. >.<

It very well may have something to do with the drivers for the CPU. I really don't know how well Intel's driver installation software works, so it may have left something residual on there causing conflicts elsewhere.

Ok, so when i uninstalled the drivers, upon reboot the system auto-updated the original drivers. That in turn added the 8 NVIDIA High Definition Audio. Still need to test the system but i should mention a couple changes already. First off, i ran CCleaner regclean, and i removed the remains of the drivers with Drive Sweeper before i rebooted. So i did a "clean" install of the current drivers sans the HD Audio Drivers.
The first change was a command prompt going into normal mode, from NIVIDA asking me simply Y/N. So i hit Y and it opened windows up. The second change is the lack of the "NIVIDA Experience" which is my driver update interface.

So i either screwed up royally and screwed up some basic installation or did an actual clean install, a true clean install.

We'll see how things go, i'm off to bed, will post an update tomorrow. Thanks again.

Sounds like you did a proper clean install. Test it out tomorrow and let us know how things end up as-is.

Why not...remove the sound card? I mentioned this previously. You don't NEED a soundcard and it might turn out to be the problem (conflict, bad card, corrupted drivers).

Your motherboard has onboard sound that can be used until you sort out your issues, right?

Well that is what Speccy reports, average load is 45c running dual monitors on start. [Edit] With just Firefox, Steam, Winamp, and Zonealarm running, it is hovering around 50. The second card barely moves above 30-35c however. According to the NIVIDIA Control Panel, my second card should be responsible for the second monitor. So yeah, i do feel it is running a little hot. Double checked again and did some further cleaning of the two, no change. SLI is disabled.

[Edit 2] Right now this is what Speccy is reporting on my Graphics Cards while running the aforementioned programs and Borderlands 2 in windowed mode.

Your motherboard has onboard sound that can be used until you sort out your issues, right?

2 reasons
1. Might not be a sound issue. Right now, worrying about the Graphics Card first, also suggested it might be a BIOS issue. It's far from clear at this point.
2. Not wanting to pull anything out just just yet. First i need to see what happens next from last night. Kinda going from crash to crash trying to find out what is wrong without making a bigger mess for myself, which i believe i have proven i am good at mucking things up by now, lol.

[Update] Ok so i think i worked out the system freeze issue. But that apparently was a separate system issue. The freezing when i go to Crunchyroll.com is still happening. It would seem, anyways.

So to clarify, i think i did fix a problem that caused the system to stutter and now need to fix:

the main problem i have been experiencing is a system hang, then freeze when i try to enter into task manager [when on Crunchyroll.com]

just to be safe disable it and see.then after a restart.if all go fine.then uninstall.

I have not. What would be the steps to do so?

So, while doing some searching i found a link that seems to describe my problem.:

Jose/feed/rss2/www.crunchyroll.com | GeekGamer.TV

www.geekgamer.tv/search/jose/feed/rss2/...crunchyroll.../42/?...‎
by Chase Nunes - in 633 Google+ circles
Search Results for "jose/feed/rss2/www.[I]crunchyroll[/I].com" : 300 ... A problem with the video streaming program caused the master system to lock-up and freeze.

But for some reason it is coming up 404. But based on the blurb, that is exactly the problem i am having.
