So women these days want to act like men and be treated like men with equal rights, but when you do, they cry for special priviledges and exceptions for being woman?
While striking a woman is questionable, it's not out of the question in self defense from out of control violence. However consider that a typical man can easily overpower and restrain a woman and render her harmless without directly striking, it's a tough call, and could be considered excessive by some.
When I am engaged I contrast my capabilities with the other person's, and make a real time judgment call in the disparity of force and what force is least excessive to end the conflict. I know that a woman can put on a violent show, but I know a typical woman is no threat to someone of my presence, thus I likely wouldn't directly strike unless the circumstances were severe.
