It's kind of like X-Files - sometimes there's the Monster episodes, and sometimes you get stuck with the Alien Conspiracy episodes. I like the Fringes that focus on one weird thing per episode, instead of the larger conspiracy. But the conspiracy episodes are like 100x better than the ones from X-Files

Almost all episodes focus on one specific 'case' per episode, but you should probably watch it from the beginning. The overall plot line is fairly good.

I'm so disappointed with Fox. I was a big Fringe fan, but they messed around with the scheduling so much that I didn't know when it was going to be on, if it was going to be a new episode or rerun, etc (and wtf was with them showing an un-aired episode that included a character that already died? stupid...). Due to their inability to schedule the programming, I missed a handful of new episodes, they weren't available to watch on fox.com, and I've totally given up on the series.

for a non-strict plot episode i thought it was rather original. not to mention PI olivia was looking rather nice.

i believe the watcher warning reference was in to something he said when he helped take peter the first time.
