Finish the damn show before making such an extreme conclusion. I'll admit that it was treading water during the 3rd season but they figured out what was going to happen and delivered an amazing ending. Lost blew it.

Wow, you liked the ending? I'm assuming you're talking about Season 5. I felt the show would have been better off ending after season 3 or 4. Peter, the main character, I feel is the weakest actor across the entire series with really only one look that he could conjure up, until they somehow found even worse actors for that one-off episode in season 4 that would set us up for season 5, that required so much suspension of disbelief that I couldn't believe that I was still watching the show.

I've seen all that Netflix has to offer.

My opinion has not changed.

Should have ended sooner IMO. They dragged it out way too much and then finished with an obvious ending. First two seasons were really good.

I think that's because they never knew when it was going to end due to the ratings and being on Fox, then at the last minute they added an extra season.

Yes Fringe is one of the best shows ever and the fact it got "canceled" tells you the bad taste people have

Walter alone makes it worth watching, such an amazing performance by John Noble, and Anna is a hottie even if people like to hate on her "stiff" acting
I think Anna is to Olivia what Keanu was to Neo and Arnold to Terminator, sure, plenty of better actors out there but she WAS the character

I loved the 5 season too, just a bit disappointed in the ending, it was kinda abrupt... I expected more of a climax, but oh well

I really liked the episodic nature of the first season or two. I guess it's because you get a bit of a new mystery each week with some crazy, sci-fi twist, and you get to take that journey with a really odd cast.

If you enjoyed Fringe, pretty much the entire production crew will be working on a new FOX show called Almost Human (Trailer). I read an article on IGN where they interviewed the showrunner, which had an interesting tidbit for Fringe fans:

IGN: Lastly, I have to ask.... Might we see any Fringe actors on Almost Human at some point?
Wyman: I can guarantee you that we’re going to see Fringe actors. I miss all of them so much, and we’ve been keeping in touch. Anything I can do -- it’s just got to be worthy of them, because they’re all in my heart. I want to write them great stuff and make sure they come out with a big bang.

Season 5 was absolutely terrible, and it made the show as a whole worse because of it.

Wife and I watched every episode through to the end. It has some slower moments mid way but as a whole its a excellent show.

We've recently finished watching Sherlock which is great. Firefly (including Serenity movie) and you can see it was the foundation for something epic and it's a damn shame it wasn't ever able to go further.

We got into Doctor Who last year and have watched every episode of the rebooted in 2005 ones.

There is a Doctor Who spin off called Torchwood and that was worth the watch as well.

I think all of those are somewhat complementary to the genre of Fringe.
