who is she going to call? the cops or the airline? they knew she was there and wouldnt let her off.

I'm not sure if the cleaning crew intentionally locked her in or what, I heard none of that on the morning drive. If they did, you dial 911 and say you've been kidnapped, they can find you cell phone. If not, still 911, I'm locked inside an airplane, can you tell where I am? etc

I did hear she was detained and questioned after they found her, and rightly so. She was in a secured area where she should not be, and is definitely a security risk. The questioning would eventually lead to the flight attendant's failure to properly inspect the plane, but they are correct to question her.

She probably took sleeping pills for the flight. Those can knock you out.

That and last flight of the day for the plane means the cleaning crew does not come on. But the doors... even if they were closed.. don't lock.

I'm wondering what the flight attendants were thinking when they left her there without telling anyone (assuming they did attempt to wake her).

You've got an unresponsive person and your job is to ensure the wellbeing of the passengers. I call negligence at least on the airline.

It's extremely rare but I've been on a flight where the weather was perfect and apparently the pilot was very good. Didn't know we touched down until the breaks and reverse jets were being applied. Extremely smooth landing due to perfect conditions. But 90% of the flight landings suck.

That's when, as you exit the plane, you turn to the smiling pilot and say, "Did we land? Or were we shot down?"

Meh, I've slept through landings before, especially when I'd been up for 2-3 days. It might freak me out a little to wake up alone in a dark airplane. I wouldn't sue, but I'd make damned sure I got some free tickets out of it.
