I was paying $50/month for 4MB DSL. I just went to 7MB cable for $15 less a month. I'm happy as well.

I guess your lucky. When I had OOL from 6-9 my internet was a dog. Now that I have FIOS its the same fast speed all the time.

I love FiOS. They recently gave me a big speed bump to 35mbps and speed test gives me around 20mbps. It's not like I can use it to it's fullest extent though since Wifi can't push data that fast.

I'm paying $105/mo for FIOS. 25/25 Internet and Extreme HD package. I never watch the TV though, I got it just to try it cause I've never had my own cable tv. I'll probably drop down to just the internet plan for $70/mo.

Reminds me of my first ISP in the 90s. Piece of shit wouldn't let us log on after 9pm with a whopping 14.4k connection. If we had school work or anything to do online, it was "do it before 9, or you fuxxored".

We had DSL for over 2 years. Piece of crap maxed out at 120 kb/s download, but averaged 70 kb/s or less. Cable finally took it up to 800+ kb/s on average.

Went from 1Mbps Dsl to 10Mbps cable last year while paying about half the price. It was great having enough speed to actually game online and have more than one computer online. Added bonus thanks to the way they deliver cable I get basic cable for free too. Usually an extra 25 a month

There is only 1 provider out here. I can't even game online anymore.
