You need to get a cable that will go from the stereo 1/8" jack on the back of your computer to Stereo RCA (red and white) connectors. Then you need something that will come out of your game console and will go into the back of your reciever, because most recievers these days also have video switching. An RCA audio-video cable will work. It should have a red, a white, and a yellow RCA connector at each end. In addition, you need the same type of cable to come out of the back of your DVD player and into your reciever. Then you can run a single RCA Video cable from your reciever's video output to the back of the TV. This cable will only need to have one yellow RCA connector at each end. For all your cabling needs go to Parts Express. They sell lots of decent cabling (not as exorbitant as Monster Cable) and you should find everything you need there except the one that goes from 1/8" Stereo Miniplug to Stereo RCA. That can be found at a local RadioShack. Then the last thing you need is a long stereo RCA cable (with red and white RCA connectors at each end) to go from the 1/8"-to-RCA converter (which won't be long enough on its own to get to the back of your reciever) to the back of your reciever. That long stereo RCA cable can also be found at Parts Express. That should cover it. You will also need a shorter stereo RCA cable for each of the sources (tape deck, CD changer) that you plan to connect (we already made provisions for your DVD player and video game console).
