A big thank you for all your support. It is very much appreciated.

Peter is better. He is quite weak, but gets better every day. His breathing is much better, be will be off the oxygen probably by tomorrow. He is also getting annoyed by being ill, which is - according to my experience - a good sign. He will have to stay in the hospital for at least 5 more days.

I just had a thought...does the hospital have wireless internet access? If so, and you had 2 laptops w/ built-in cameras, you could set up a skype video/audio connection between the hospital and home anytime. My daughter does this all the time with her friends.

Certainly, personal visits are much preferred.

Hi everybody, this post is written by myself ... from my new laptop ... in hospital. You all know most of what has happened and I want to thank you all for your support and prayers for myself and my family. It has been a close brush ... but it seems to me that my time has not yet come.

I'll be in the hospital for two or three days more. Then a recuperatioon period of a couple of weeks at home. I should be back to par in a few months - this virus has really taken its toll. I have lost more than 16 kg in a way I do not recommend for anybody.

Thanks also Biodoc for your great mastership and successfull efforts of managing this race. You certaionly deserve the honorable title of Statswizard (this is supposed to the color of gold :\ )

I'll be around now and then, some times lurking, somtimes postinmg. I need to up my post count in the NEF-thread PCTC2 is too far ahead. ()

I won't be building any new rrgs for quite siome time - and I can not switch over any of my crunchers to F@H from my hospital bed. I want to thank those who have switched over their folding rigs to my account - and do thus aknowledge their gift.

It's good to hear from you, Peter! I'm am glad you have overcome this virus.

My mother passed away in 1995 after contracting the Hanta virus. It is extremely serious! I refrained from posting about it earlier so I wouldn't jinx your recovery.

I was going to send you some flowers, but quickly discovered I could buy a cpu/mobo combo for the cost of the flowers, so I guess you know what this cruncher's decision was.
