Nice tutorial! You'd think one of these companies would MAKE something like this so you wouldn't have to mod it... yet I haven't seen anything that fits in the 3.5" bays as of yet. I bought the Antec Easy USB, which was really nice since they include a cable long enough to reach your motherboard header. Making the extensions like you did would probably just drive me nuts! I've seen similar mods and a lot of people didn't end up with such a nice looking finished product.
