LOL ! Gotta love the mis-prints !

In the San Diego ad:

They're selling "Holey Casino Games" and "Holey Puzzle Games".
(Is Holy Casino games a little like church Bingo?)
(The photo of the boxes show that they are HOYLE)

Also F.A.R. a book entitled: "Hardware Hacking Projects for GREEKS"
(It's all geek to me!)

Just back from Fry's. I got the Corsair 512MB PC3200 memory ($60 after $40 MIR). Also got two cans of duster for $1.99. The model number of the RAM is VS512MB400 which is CAS 2.5 and 2.5V according to Newegg product description.

I went out of the door with 4 items in mind, the other 2 being the APC1500VA UPS for $99 after $50 instant gift rebate(??) and $50 MIR, and, the
200G Seagate drive for $70 AR, but I successfully resisted temptation and only picked up 2. But come to think of it, I have no need for the two items I picked up either

The Emprex 8x +/- r/rw comes with an extra black Face plate and Roxio CD & DVD Creator 6, Roxio Photosuite 5 and PowerDVD XP.
The APC 256MB SD Card is marked 60X. I'll try this on my camera and see.
There is a PNY 512MB for $54.99 after MIR - SF Bay Area

The Seatgate is shown in the ad (bottom right, page one). Do you mean they don't have them available at the store?

Was my day off and I live 10 minutes from Fry's and I successfully resisted temptation. The price on the 9800 Pro after tax was going to be real close to $200 and I estimate being able to pick one of these up for cheaper than that in the coming weeks or months. Read lots of negative reviews of the Emprex/BTC DVD-+RW and noticed that I could get the NEC 8X dual format burner for $85 after tax and shipping off the net which is like $7 more than this junky one. The RAM and duster were good deals though.

Please .

Don't have a link, but it was on the front page of the ad that came with my morning PI. Good deal.

What is really calling to me is the Scarface "cigar box" SE and South Park Season 3 for $27.99. "The Batman Legacy" is also the same price, but it suffers from the same fate as the Alien Quadrilogy - being a four movie box set with only two good movies in it.

I'm back, and I think it was the most productive trip I've had to Fry's. Went with a friend, and between the 2 of us we walked out with:

2 x 100 pack CDR's @ $9 ea
2 x 25 pack DVD-R's @ $14.75 ea
2 x 40 cd wallet @ $1.99 ea
10 x 4 pack of AA batteries @ $.49 ea
10 x 4 pack of AAA batts @ $.49 ea
2 x 16X DVD Drive @ $17.99 ea (picked up for co-worker)
1 x PNY 128mb USB 2.0 thumbdrive @ $24.99 - $5 MIR (also for co-worker)
1 x 256mb SD card @ $59.99 - $25 MIR (picked up for my mom)
2 x 2pack canned air @ $1.99

Between the two of us, total came to roughly $200. Counting the rebates will be about $170

I had checked out the 900mhz phone. Was alright, but I didn't get it as it didn't have caller ID.

i dropped about $685 incl tax there today (-$185 MIRs = $500), but that included around $210 (before rebates) in stuff for my brother in law since he lives far from fry's.

1/2 hour before fry's closed there were still stacks of $18 DVD-ROMs, around 2 dozen $20 52x burners, a few stacks of $180 9800 Pros, lots of $20 PCI and PCCard wireless-b NICs and 4 big stacks of $70AR 200GB seagate drives.

The $30 i455 sold out early, but lots of the best deals were still available very late...

Taking a long shot on this but I am looking to connect with anyone that lives in the Sacramento, CA area (obviously near a Fry's) so that I can take advantage of either some of these deals or other future ones. I used to live near San Jose, CA and loved being within 30 minutes of any of three stores. Now (Wahhhhhhhhhhh), I live in southern Oregon and love it but am going through Fry's withdrawals. There are times when I really need to take advantage of some of these deals but it would not be a consistant thing.
Bottom line and in the interest of keeping this short, PM me if you might be willing to pick things up at Fry's, charge a "reasonable" S&H price (don't want you to be without some profit) and ship to me. Hey, it's a long shot but I'm serious; I build a few systems here and there and do upgrades from time to time. The only thing I have near me is Staples. Not bad but not Fry's.
Please, no flames. This is an honest request from a very honest person; check my heat under Buz2b. TIA.

Just got back myself and here's what I got

200GB Seagate HD @ $70AR
Hauppage WinTV Go @ $30AR
Creative Labs 2.1 Speakers @ $20AR
Canon LiDe 30 Scanner @ $30AR
Belkin KVM @ $20AR

Total was $350. This crap is expensive and really adds. I've never sepent so much at Fry's at once. There was also a Sharp 17" LCD for $350AR but they sold out . My friend convinced me that it wasn't that great anyways and that since I already have a 15" LCD it would be better to get a bigger one with DVI. I can live with my 1024x768 rez for now .

they both also need orginal upc code and the rebates are 1 per customer, address and househood.
call the rebate center and they only accept one rebate for this router...
call fry's and the person said, "i don't know what to tell you"
