Yesterdays paper had the Core2 Duo and a Gigabyte board (AGP) for $169.98, today they got the X2 out, w/ a PCI-E slot. Anyhow know if this board is any good?? I may get this for a friend.

I bought the KN1-Lite combo around the start of this year, its a decent mobo. But the only problem I have with this mobo is large data transfers via usb 2.0. Mouse, printers, and flash drives work fine, but cd-rw or portable hard drives gives me a system reboot.
I recently jumped on the ECS C51GM-M (V1.0) w/ AMD X2 4200+ deal, hopefully that mobo is better than the Lite I have.

I have the same mobo as yours that has never given me any problem besides being a poor overclocker. I'd suggest to upgrade the bios to rid of the your reboot headache.
