People had stuff in their carts as if everything was being passed out for free.

Same for the Wilsonville Oregon store. We got in on the JVC mini-dv camcorders. While walking around the store or waiting in line, people were eyeing them as if they wanted to steal them. I bearhugged mine

Wow! Unbelievable deals - the best of any retailer if you ask me - esp the Panny TV, the Harman Receiver and the BT headset (I need one badly), X2 combo, $22 WOW, $15 G router w/out rebate..wow, very nice.

I was lucky. I went to Fry's in Arlington, TX at 9AM. I got everything I was looking for.

80GB HDD $0 AR
Condemned $39
HP Deskjet 3847 $19
8X DVD-R $1.5 AR

Parking lot was full.
I did the check out in 2 minutes. No line at all because they opened all the registers.

Picked up an X2 3800 bundle at little after noon today (Friday) at the Palo Alto Fry's... So, it's safe to say they had a pretty good supply on hand... So, thanks for pointing out the add, would have missed it otherwise... Finally moving up from my old XP 2500+ Barton setup..

Now I have to figure out if I want to make do with the MB that came with it or sell it and grab a new one. Also need to look into a PCI-E graphics card... Good deal on one thing forcing me to spend more $ on others... Always the case...

Went to the Chicago Fry's this morning, got there 5:10am (opens at 5am). Parking lot already full and had to drive around to find a spot. 10 minutes after opening and people were already leaving, some with stuff, some emptyhanded. Stuff I was gonna get that was OOS were the Belkin 375VA UPS $FAR and the Casio Exilim EX-Z50 camera with Epson C88 printer for $127 AR. Stuff I ended up getting was the PNY Attache USB 1GB $34.99, Emprex UXB 256MB $9.99, AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ retail box with ECS NFORCE4-A939 motherboard for $279.99. No rebates on anything.

Was tempted by the Seagate 300GB EIDE for $69.99 AR (two rebates) but I decided I didn't need a third brand new hard drive sitting around collecting dust. :Q Darn these hot deal forums!!! Also saw some great deals - looked like regular price - on some anime DVDs. $6.99 per disc with titles like Love Hina, Saber Marionette, Blue Submarine #6, Banner of the Stars, Crest of the Stars... all awesome titles. Note that these are regular discs with a few eps and the whole series will take a few discs, but they did have some of the different ones to make the set.

The checkout line snaked all the way to the rear of the store but moved pretty quickly.

I'm suprised that I got out of there with some stuff - plus went to CompUSA and got what I was looking for. Staples and Circuit City were OOS on everything. Target was OOS on the Kodak C315 5MP camera for $89 but had everything else. Menards seemed well stocked. Went to a second Circuit City that had more stuff in stock.

I strolled in Fry's around 8:15 and they still had tons of the FAR 80GB hard drive. I also got the X2 3800+ combo as well as CoD2 and the $15 AR FX5200. I actually only ended up with CoD2 because someone stashed one in the candy section right at the end of the checkout line and, being bored an checking everything out, I noticed it ans snagged it.

BTW, the line went completely around the store. That's right. To the entrance and it wound around in quite a few places. Must have been 600 people infront of me and I still got out of there in 1 hour.

Only thing I wanted but didn't get was the 128MB Muvo for $18 with no rebates. But that was also the only thing that I didn't have any use for as I already own a 512MB version.

Looks like it's over, it was a 6am-noon deal. $29.99 and then a $20 rebate. The model was the Plantronics M2500.

Holy crap that's exactly what I did. I sold the board in the FS/FT forum here for 40 bucks. I love the 3800+.

I can't belive Fry's gave me the wrong rebates form (gave me double Envision rebate instead!) for the Canon iP1600 printer when I brought the Envision 19" LCD monitor! I went back today and they told me that they don't have any more rebates form and told me that I should have check it at that day and ignoring me when I request the form!

The problem was during BF I got too many rebate forms and too many people and I carries too many things! Guys/gals can anyone of you kind enough mail me the rebate form for the printer (or else I won't be able the get the rebate)?

I went to http://newspaperads.mercurynews.com/ROP/Advertisers.aspx?letter=F and can't find the ads for free printer (canon iP1600) when buy any LCD terminal during BF? Anyone still has the San Diego, CA Fry's add because it was on the Sasn Diego's ads?

The thing is they did not have the ad in store for BF now. The customer service said they did not have rebate for the printer when buying LCD monitor on BF and they said there probably did not qualify for rebate and only for buying a laptop.

There anyone know where can I find San Diego, CA Fry's ads? or does anyone got the monitor with printer?
