Its a link to someones page who scans the fry's ad in every time it comes out in the paper. (LA area)

It also back logs all the ads (maybe just a week) but it could be ahelpful resource for someone wating an old ad.

They usually have a good Intel CPU/Mobo combo on sale every week or so too. Last I checked it was a P3-866 and an i815 mobo for $349. Not bad!

I suspect that deal is just in the Bay Area. The FrysAd site only shows the LA Area ads.

what's there to pay attention to? just look at them the only thing worse than a Fry's salesperson is one from CompUSA B&M.

The Fry Ad site is frysad.com The guy spends a few hours each morning scanning sections of the newspaper and mapping as in image to different sections of the main image. Its a great service... But you gotta think getting up 5am on sale days has to get to you... =)

Yes it does get to me and thanks for acknowledging the time I have invested. The good news is I have streamlined the process somewhat so that now it takes me only 20-30 minutes for the single page ads. Thanks to Fry's tendency to use the same layout, I am able to create the closeups with macros or "actions" as they are called in Photoshop.

Friday is still to be dreaded as it still takes me well over an hour.

Thanks in large part to this and other forums and my suddenly showing up on search engines my traffic has been increasing greatly of late. I have had record 1 day traffic every Friday for the past 6 consecutive weeks.

This month I expect to have 45,000 unique visitors and 260,000 page views. Contrast that with the previous high of 26,000 and 145,000 respectively.

Still ain't makin' any money though but making life easier for 45,000 people is worth something, isn't it?
