I live in Fishers and have done some researching and can't find anything about this.
What places (maybe BBB?) can I call to get more info?

Sweet! To bad I am moving to NC in 2 weeks. I guess this will be incentive to come home more often. I would fly into Indy after all.

Anyone have an idea where? Isn't the old Incredible Universe/Auto Nation empty?
q]
That would be a potential spot, but I'm not sure it's a very good location save for the fact you can see it from 69 - maybe it's just becuase auto nation didn't last long.
There is some space available near the Super Target at 116th & 69, I hope it ends up on 116th and not 96th (closer for me). I had no idea there were several anandtechers from Fishers - we need to unite to find the best Fishers hot deals! (Tuesday at Dicks bodacious brbq $2 sandwiches - they are good)
I'm not sure who we would contact in Fishers, but I can't wait for the day I can drive 5 minutes and get a real hot deal on a motherboard / cpu - ability to return it, no shipping costs, no waiting . . . Come on Frys!

Incredible Universe & Auto Nation were concepts that looked good on paper but never panned out. Frys sounds like a well run version of Incredible Universe.Originally posted by: 1reeves

You can't. Fry's Electronics is privately owned by the 3 Fry brothers, and they have no intention of selling stock or going public... ever.Originally posted by: trexpesto
Gotta invest in these guys

Assuming this rumor is true, I'd agree with your guess for the location. They have been renovating the old, empty Incredible Universe/AutoNation building that's just NE of the 96th street/I-69 interchange. If I was a betting man, that's where I'd put my money. It's been an electronics store before, and there have been people working on it for weeks.
I'm not getting my hopes up until I see it, though-- this seems like too much wishful thinking without enough facts so far.
They just opened their first East Coast store in Duluth, Georgia. Couldn't believe it! Duluth is at the edge of Atlanta's suburbia, not exactly a thriving metropolis. I'm originally from SoCal and it blows my mind that they picked this unremarkable suburb. Whatever, I'm not complaining!Originally posted by: DestruyaUR
Good. They seem to be moving farther and farther eastward. I'll be sharing in the Fry's goodness in 2039 at their rate of expansion, though.
